We recently installed a wood stove to help heat our home and to utilize it as a back up heating source if our power goes out. We currently live in an old farmhouse built in the late 1800’s and have found that it is not insulated well…at all.
As I was standing in my garden watering it, I looked around to see how overgrown it had become. In the beginning we took good care of it, weeding and making sure everything was done correctly, giving it enough water and fertilizer.
Anyone who gardens knows it can be hard work but once you get the seeds sewn and plants planted, it’s maintenance after that until you reap the benefits of your hard work which is the fruit (or vegetables haha!)
