Michelle was led to write Breaking The Chains in 2007 at the request to have a recovery ministry at her church and gives all credit to the Lord for providing everything she needed to create Breaking The Chains. The Bible states God’s Word is a living Word and Michelle realized this through the application of scripture in her life in order to heal. Michelle is currently the secretary at New Harvest Church of God.

They were certified in Youth Leadership through Church of God and were Youth Leaders for 18 months. Both have received a Diploma of Practical Theology through International Seminary. They are currently the Christian Education Directors at their church. Both have worked as leaders and Directors for Celebrate Recovery at prior churches.

They have been stationed in Germany, Kansas, Texas, Georgia and Fort Drum, NY. They enjoy the outdoors, camping and anything BBQ! They have one grown daughter, Sarah, who enjoys working with children as a childcare provider. She has also taught bible study to small children. Sarah enjoys music and drawing and received an Associates Degree in music. She enjoyed a season of time on the Worship Team and works as their sound tech.
Ken and Michelle continue to be amazed at how far God has brought each one of them, the healing He has done and where He continues taking them in their day to day life.
