Breaking The Chains Biblical
Recovery Ministry is a ministry helping those who are bound to problems and
struggles and wish to break free from the chains of bondage through the freedom
of Jesus Christ. These problems and struggles keep us chained like slaves, hindering us from moving forward and enjoying the life God has given to us.
Although we are not professional counselors, our program shows you where to
find answers to many of lifes problems through God's word...the Bible.
Many times when we think of recovery
programs, we think of drugs and alcohol, but recovery covers so much
more! Many people suffer from many different things due tomany different reasons. Some issues covered in this ministry are thefollowing:

and more...

HOW CAN ONE PROGRAM COVER SO
MANY PROBLEMS?
First, we must say that Breaking
The Chains does not claim to fix anyone. Only Christ can set people free:
"It is for the
freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." (Galatians 5:1)
And only Christ can heal through faith:
By faith in the name of
Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and
the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him,
as you can all see. (Acts 3:16)
As servants of God, we give you
the information needed to set you on the path tofreedom. That path beginswith
a solid foundation...Jesus Christ:
"For no one can lay
any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." (1
Corinthians 3:11)
The information we give comes
from God's word...the Bible. There isn't any problem that the Bible doesn't
cover and when you apply what the Lord says to your life, healing willcome.
Throughout the Bible the promises of the Lord are evident when we follow His
commands. Leviticus 26:1-13and Deuteronomy 28:1-14 are just two chapters that speak about the reward for
obedience. Our God is a God who keeps His promises, and when we follow His ways
and do what is right, He protects us, heals us and blesses us. However, this
does not mean that we will not encounter problems during our life, for Psalm
34:17-20 states the following:
The righteous cry out, and
the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is
close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A
righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;
he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.
So even the
"righteous" have problems. No one is exempt and that includes
Christians.Recovery requirespatience becauseas we all know, God works
in His own time and for His ownreasons. What we have to realize is that
recovery is a day to day process and we must apply God'sword in our lives
every single day and trust in Him to receive that spiritual healing. Manytimes
we want a quick healing or resolution to our problems but it's during our recovery that God teaches us many things. If God were to answer all our
problems quickly, whatwould we learn? So patience is always required when
seeking answers and helpfrom God. We must have patient endurance during our
struggles and remember the promises our Lord and Savior has for us:
So do not throw away this
confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!Patient
endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will.
Then you will receive all that he has promised. (Hebrews 10:35-36 NLT)
Allow Christ to break you free
from your chains of bondage and set you on the path to freedom!
